Sukhada Rahalkar is a freelance illustrator and graphic designer who studied Animation and Film Making from IDC, IIT Mumbai, India. She currently lives in cloudy and windy San Francisco.

She loves writing and illustrating books for young children and her picture book, 'Lost and Found', published by Pratham Books, has been translated into twenty five languages and is available in e-versions as well. She has also designed various child development aids including cards, puzzles and vocabulary games. Her heart's desire is to create illustrations that will capture every child's imagination.

Much like her favorite animal, the cat, she takes every opportunity to toast herself in the sun and follow its arc through the day. When she is not working you’ll find her baking, taking long walks, and sipping coffee.

Available for freelance illustration projects.
